Default Getting my 17" VS-XX Custom Step Lip Build to 18" need offset input

Hey guys I am kind of a noob when it comes down to the whole offsets game but recently I picked up 17x8, x9 +45 all around Work VS-XX (mid-disk hub) and I was thinking of rebuilding it to be flush on 17"! But now I have a change of mind and I want 18"! As in right now it is @ Simple Wheel Werks about to be custom to step lips 18" VSXX.... I need your inputs to see if what is the best sizes and offsets!

The specs I am thinking of changing it to is: 18x9 +38 and 18x9.5 +38

Thanks in advance!!

Those specs will be perfect, you will notrub or anything, but wouldn't it be cheaper to just find another set of wheels?

don't know if you want poke or what, but there's a bunch of info and pics over at my.is to use as a reference.
