The engine with ecu will prolly cost 2-4000$ depending on where you get it. The trans (r154) will be another grand prolly, the v160 will cost you a few grand alone. The cheapest I can see this swap done on this car at a shop is 6,000$ but can range up to 10 grand.

With GE-T - reasonable and reliable I'd say you can be around 500hp
600+ is reachable but might be not as reliable.
10-15lbs boost reliably for daily driving, probably 22lbs+ towards the top end not so reliable for every day driving.

With GTE you can reach 1000hp+
And probably 700 reliable
20lbs boost reliably to go to the grocery store to buy a bag of milk

When I say reliable, I'm saying no fear of leaks or blowing gaskets, hoses, tranny, etc..

Im building my GE right now

First price is what I paid, Second is retail
GTE internals $200-300
GTE headgasket $120
BC stage2 Cams $550-650
Valve springs and retainers $300
Greddy Ultimate computer with plugNplay harness $600-1200
Turbonetics Turbo Kit $1400-4000
Gasket kit and internal parts $600
Gauges, gauge pods, wideband, boost controller $700
700cc injectors $300
R154 tranny+bellhousing+clutch/flywheel $1500
Drive shaft $400
Complete motor build and turbo install $1500
Tune $500

I'm sure I'm missing a few things but this is pretty much where I'm at. I'm almost ready to start tearing my car down and start installing.

crack head prices right there. some is going to pull your motor. strip it down. rebuild the head. rebuild the bottom end. put everything back together. then install it back in the car. install the turbo kit and make it run for 1500.

whatever you budget i would add 3k more

Yea pretty much except my head already has a fresh build so just a valve adjustment up there and good to go.

I hunt for the crackhead prices, I actually trust the shop/installer doing all my work alot. This is the same guy who installed my new ac condenser, found my ac leak, fixed my engine lean code, and charged my AC for $250. Hybrid Motorsports in largo FL. I would still need to do the tune separate

No more good prices for me anymore, I got as much good used stuff as I could. Now I need to pay top dollar for my gauges, gasket set, and R154 internals cuz the ods of me finding those in good used condition is slim. Turbo on a budget lol

We know because its a hell of alot harder to buy, install, wire up this motor than you think and you will for sure Pay someone else for their knowledge and time. Your gonna spend $8000 in parts and still gotta pay 3 different people crazy amounts of money to get it all working.

Build your own motor if your keeping it around 500hp
