Not sure how this would work in the IS300's since they are 01+ cars, and the 'easy' swap in the GS' is in the 98-00 cars as they did not have the VVTI 2JZ... wiring would be a challenge. AS is in the 01+ GS'.

98=00 GS - buy a front clip, swap, and essentially turn key oem operation.

Sr you are correct. Things that would need to be changed or also purchased are new oil pan, intercooler, exhaust, engine bay modifying, abs relocation, transmission, 1jz bell housing.... and thats all the cheap stuff. Still need a $2k standalone or waist alot of money having someone merge the harnesses. Than you gotta pay someone to do it all.

all this to drop in a motor thats already in your car lol

where and how did you do your set up for your turbo kit if anything can you help me out and give me more informations to DIY and all that for getting a turbo kit..thanks

you need a minimum of 10k to start.....alot of people do turbo kits for 2k and run into alot of problems or if they get it running it looks like **** and it doesnt last long....listen to badhabit and myself who has been through this.....save your money....take your time...do your research.
