It's taking a bit longer than they said (wed) but I expecting it for fri at the latest. It's just how things go in the paint booth, unexpected stuff always occur. The kit will be bolted up today, however they're still coming up with the best solution and cost effective way for the gas cap lid. Soon as that gets figured out I'll pick the car up and have it for a couple weeks as I wait for more parts to arrive. After that I'll drop it off again for part 2 of the overhaul, this I have no idea how long will take cause a lot of crap is going on at once. I'll compress a final breakdown of all the parts being installed when the time comes.

Picking the car up tomorrow, which means pics tomorrow! Hey OH! The fuel cap has been more complicating than I anticipated. The body shop's suggestion was to take a celica quarter panel where the gas tank is and mold it... that means I'm without a car for another week so went for option two. Going to file down the lid and resurface it. I'm a little nervous about this but hopefully it will meet my expectations

I don't love how the rear piece fits so I'm going to have it molded flush as well. Front bumper looks nice without the corner lights. All in all I'm happy where it's heading

oh forgot to update. Not too crazy about the rear, so the back bumper is going to be pulled off and molded while I'm getting the interior over hauled. Monday is my last day to enjoy the car for awhile!!

so the break down of installs starting tues.

nav housing w/ magellan 1700 unless someone gives me better recommendation...
*probably be adding a back up camera too*
led "mood" red lighting with on/off switch from token solutions
second massive amp
bass ****
black suede pillars, sunroof, visors and roof w/ red stitching
red leather roof handles
rewrap arm rest in black leather with red stitching
red stitching e brake boot
all gray plastic pieces painted black: seat belt holders, visor holders, etc.
rear factory speaker lining painted red
red lexus emblem added to rear cargo mat
replacing all massive emblems on speakers, tweeters and sub with "Lexus" logo
painting dash w/ high heat paint in 2 tone black and silver
riveting diamond plate floor mats
door puddle projector lights
power folding mirrors
smoked fender markers
push start with trd button and window module
molding of lip to rear bumper
and then tinkering and rounding out a few smaller details

after this gets done, I'll have the car back till the remainder of the suspension and engine stuff arrives.

THe stock height sportcross (especially) in the rear is ridiculous. Something subtle like the Eibach prokit springs will suffice. 1" drop all around. I would recommend something a bit lower like H&R or Eibach sportlines....which is around 1.5" all around. You don't need camber kits for any of these.....you can still get your alignment shop to get you close to oem spec pretty easily.

Here's my current look with 19" Volk Racing wheels. I am lowered about 2".

Nice sportcross Sway! looks really clean

If I go 18's, whats the widest tire you can go? I was also possibly thinking the oem isf 19s to slap on the car, but I'm thinking of leaving the car at stock height?? anyone have 19s on stock springs so I can see if it looks right??? same tire question applies with 19s as well.

like to get some black front and rear tail lights if they make. any tasteful dash mods? I liked the altezza cluster for example.

Please add your input. Also if you have anything for sale I may like, let me know. I have $ to spend.
Welcome to club Lexus! & high five on finding a sportcross. (:
