Default aluminum radiator

i just bought a mishimoto aluminum radiator. now i have a question, do i need to purchase a seperate tranny oil cooller. this rad does not have ports for it. the thing is that i dont know if the 01 is300 has the cooller apart from the rad or is it like all other automatics that run through the radiator.... let me know something

If you have an automatic trans, you will have to get a separate tranny cooler, yes.
How much did you get your mishi for, and where did you get it?

as llllllllll said you'll need a tranny cooler if you get an aluminum Mishi or Koyo radiator. Summitracing has some as well.

Only automatics have to have a tranny oil cooller. Its usually built into the radiator

MIshimoto radiators suck ***! I know because I own one. The fan shroud doesn't line up and the top brackets don't secure the radiator.

Yeah I was gonna get a mishi or koyo, but I didn't want to play around with getting a tranny cooler.
I'm not sure i'm keeping the car, so I'm not sure if the extra investment is worth it for me.
So I just got an OEM replacement for $109.

$230 isn't bad at all, how much was the tranny cooler, $60 or $80?
