i'd also suggest, once you have it clean you install a clear film like 3m to prevent the haze from coming back. there is only so many times you can sand the lens down before it starts to crack

i tried the 3m restoration kit, they came out worse and i had scratches around the lights and a lot wasted time to show for it...i used plast-x and it helped a lot, not perfect but a whole lot cheaper than new, whole lot faster and better than the 3m BS

ok so i just got done using the turtle wax restoring kit, my passenger side headlight wasn't as bad as the driver side so all i did was apply the lens clarifying compond rubbed it in then wiped it off and it cleaned it up really nice, the driverside was a different story i used everything included and did the process twice and it looks like crap, and i also seen that its from the inside also. The company says i can use a drill and a foam pad and use there clarifying compound, so would that work to take the scratches off the outside or do i need to go with a different sandpaper, and also how do i take the headlight apart to clean the inside. I forgot to take before pictures but i have the after pictures. Need help restoring my headlights on is300-1304623914612.jpg

Why i also think its inside is because when you look at the driver side theres a black spot i think who ever had this car painted the inside lense or something and they didnt seal it right and it got that yellow hazing inside the lense heres a picture.

open the hood and check the seems of the lights to see if its been opened. you should be able to tell

i hear the inside of the OEM lights have this special frost that if its cleaned out will ruin the lights.
