ok rims on loving the feel and the look but on the right side of car up front when i hit small bumps i can hear it rub the fender ...my question is what can i do to stop it from hitting ..oh and dont mind the dirty car

I rolled and done a slight pull on my TL fenders and its great now.

if its rubbing on the edge of the fender then you will see some slits on the outside of the tires and it will destroy that tire.

we cant really condone and answer that it will be ok to drive the car because we cant be held liable.

just fix the area where its rubbing

and not to mention that YES....IT WILL HURT SOMETHING lol

like sliding said it will slice up your tire and if you go too long with it like that Ive seen it peel the paint off and the deadly car cancer starts creeping in....RUST....so yea....just find someone with a heat gun and a fender roller and pay them 20 bucks and 6 pack of beer to roll your fenders and be done with it.

btw the fronts only have tabs and not a whole lip like the rear, you can push the tabs up yourself by hand without a roller

also i just bought tires for my 19x8.5's i have all the way around.....yea theyre expensive... so get your fenders rolled lol

what about using
Coil Spring boosters...to stiffin the ride and raise the car a inch or two
to stop it from rubbing ?

is the 35 profile the right size for 19s? i thought it was supposed to be 30. i dont run 19s so i dont know. cant remember.

you can try a 225 tire or just a slight roll. also is it rubbing on the fender or the inner plastic? if its just the plastic i wouldnt worry about it. you can heat the plastic and push it in further.

yea i think 35 is right dont think they make 30 profile in 235 but its the fender inner lip in the rear and the plastic in the front thats rubbing

yea i run 19x8.5 +43 and 10 mm spacers on rear with 225/35 up front and 235/35 on the rear, with rolled fenders im good

seriously though, youre talking about changing the dynamics of the car for something that be solved by something very inexpensive and simple and a lot less time consuming too

im not trying to be mean but its kinda like instead of taking the steak out of the fridge and cooking it youre going out into the wilderness and finding wild cow, developing a tool to kill it, killing it, developing another tool to butcher it, developing an axe to cut firewood, building a fire pit, developing a way to cook the beef over a fire, figuring out how to get the fire started without modern technological advances and finally....cooking it....seriously im sure you can find someone in your area with a fender roller, give them 20 bucks and get it done, case closed lol

worst case scenario, buy a fender roller and heat gun, watch youtube videos on how to do it, do your research on tips and tricks, do it for your car, turn around and advertice on the forums or craigslist that youll roll fenders at 20 bucks and a six pack of beer each until you recoup the cost, fender rolling is in high demand so it shouldnt be that hard, heres a link to a fender roller, im pretty sure this is the good one (someone else chime in on this and confirm or deny this)

yea but even with that its still cheaper to buy a fender roller and rolling the fenders is something hes probably gonna need done either now or in the future
