ok so before i put the motor in i am having 2nd thought s about the ttc mod and if i did it correctly, i have read several ways but cant find an actual pic. do you remove all the valves(3) or just the ones on the actual turbos and leave the large one on the 02 housing/downpipe?

Well did my research and have come to the conclusion that, yes you so remove all the actuators as long as you have a boost controller and a larger downpipe! So at least that's finished! Motor is officially ready to go in! Finishing up the ABS and cleaning engine bay Friday. More pics will follow.

Wait a minute, doesn't the boost controller t into the wastegate? If all the actuators are removed then there would not be any way to actually regulate boost? Correct? Or do you then T into the BOV to try to regulate boost? I have searched and cannot find a definate answer. Will some one please verify before I put the motor in later today? Funny how I can get confused on some of the easier tasks.

When you reroute your brake lines make sure ALL of them are cut AT THE FIREWALL ! I had no idea how close the rear turbo would be because no one has ever actually posted pics for me to see. I will show you exactly how close it sits and how big of a mistake I made! I also included another pic of what you need to shave off of the rear piping to help clear the heater hoses. Everyone was quick to say shave off some of the rear piping to add space but i never actually saw any pics of why. . . . now you do!

the lines came from AUTOZONE. They were the same color as the original so it looks better IMO. also the brake line unions are from there also and are $1.49 each, any other parts store had them for $4.99+ no difference at all so when I bought out all the fittings from AUTOZONE's around me then i had the others price match. All parts stores only keep 1 or 2 on hand and you will need 6 (7 if you have a manual and are doing the clutch dampner bypass like i did).

hey man work looks good. i had one question tho. ive read on this swap theres some sort of machining require on the rear turbo for firewall clearancing? can you explain that or possibly post a picture of what you had to do? if anything?

i didnt and now i have a huge clearance problem, i believe you should be able to see in my previous pics.
but to clear things up. . . YOU HAVE TO MACHINE DOWN THE MATING SURFACE WHERE THE CHARGE PIPE MEETS THE TURBO HOUSING.
and if someone can tell me how to post vids from an iphone4 on here then i will show you the progress of it running. . .
