Help. What is this vacuum line supposed to be connected to?

i just checked mine out and its open as well. its probably just a vent because there is no vaccuum on it

This is definitely not supposed to be connected to anything.

the engine is a DOHC im im pretty sure it shoots air out of that line if I'm not mistaking

Nope. If you guys look closely there is another on the other side (they are connected). Its there in case you would want to run a vacuum or w.e to the other side of the engine. Some people use them and others cut them off like me. They are not used for anything on the IS300
