Default Q about IS wheels

I'm about to pick up some chrome 18' IS rims I think they are off an 07. Anyhow I was wondering if any one has pictures of them on a is300..? The wife has a 04 dark grey IS.
Here is the link ...

From what I've read, it's the 17" ISX50 wheels that need spacers to clear suspension components on the IS300.

Which is strange, considering the 1IS has an OEM wheel spec of 17x7" with an ET 50... *and some even a 7.5" wide.

Yes the 2IS 17x7 wheels have an ET 45, already 5mm more 'poke' than the stock equivalent.

And the 18" are staggered with much less conservative offsets.

I suggest you get the offsets and do the research quicktimes using these:

Doesn't the ISX50 come with a 17x8 +45? If so, that would have LESS clearance on the inner suspension than a 17x7 +50. Since the 18" wheel is taller, it is able to clear the arm.

18" stocks will fit no problem the 17" stocks hit the control arm and need a 5mm spacer..this is from expirience

always thought those 18s looked good on 1IS, been looking for a set myself. I only see a few listed and when they are, they're asking 750-1000. some with no tires too!

update us with pics soon!
