Default New to the forums!!

Hey guys, whats going on I'm new to the forums. I currently own a 2004 Acura Rsx Type S 128k mi salvage title with a injen CAI, buddyclub N+ coils, hondata reflash, rear strut and mid bar, re30 reps, authentic itr front and sides, authentic a-spec rear, authentic itr wing, hondata img. Thing is I currently have a chance to trade for a 2002 IS300 with springs and some axis wheels with 140k mi automatic trans. good condition. I was just wondering is there any problems with this year IS300 ? If so what are the common problems? Should I do it ?

make sure the timing belt and water pump was replaced thats a 90k mile service. i would trade. much better reps for a clean title IS than a salvage RSX

Are you ok swapping your 5-speed for an automatic?
That would probably be one of the biggest questions in my mind.

RSX is definitely sportier feeling and not as luxurious
(Not saying that the IS300 is luxury at all, but compared to rsx it is..)
You should test drive the IS300 to see if it is a good feel for you...
You are gonna LOOOOOVE the swap from FWD to RWD...
If you haven't owned a rwd car before you're in for a treat!

Also trading from a salvaged Acura RSX to a clean title Lexus IS300 sounds like a good upgrade to me....
Sounds like you have a lot of mods done to your RSX?!
And the IS300 appears to be stock... 2 years older, and 12,000 more miles...

All factors you should consider.
But 2002 IS300 doesn't really have any known issues.
Just you should probably change the timing belt soon if you get it, it's recommended to be changed like every 70k miles.
