Default Window Tint

Alright so we dont really have a good window tint place around my area. I was wondering if anyone has ever done the tint kit from ebay? My friend did this in his infiniti and it turned out really nice! here is the link to it, what you guys think?

I havent used it personally. I know you can make any tint look good as its mainly installation. But don't let that fool you for quality. I've had tint shops tint my cars in the past and over time it turn purple or bubble and also fog/haze up.

I have a buddy that tints for a living and has used lumar I think the name is and its the best tint I've come across and has a lifetime warranty. It's never baked, faded, purpled, or bubbled on me at all

Not a lot of tint shops up my way since it's illegal here in NJ but since my cars are registed in FL, I can use their tint laws. Ended up finding a place but it cost me $320 for my 4Runner. My IS350 I got done in FL for $150!

personally i wouldn't do it myself, but my uncle bought it off ebay before and it came out pretty nice, but it does peel and stuff after a while. I rather get it at a shop that has life time warranty

Don't do it on windy days. LOL
I tinted my friend's window and it turned out well, but it was windy and we kept loosing sheets of tint due to creases from bending and sticking to it's self.

Tinting my tail lights was a major pain in the balzz...
No way I would ever attempt to do my windows, I'd rather pay the pros to do it.
It's illegal in MANY states, but they still have tint shops, just look around....

The only reason i do my own is that most tint shops charge $20 per window where you can go to wal-mart and get a roll that will do 2-3 windows for $10. So I save a lot of money and I help my friends save also.

Smugness? No, I think not.
Are you trying to attack me or something? haha
It's like, having a bentley and putting walmart seat covers on it...... hahahaha

If you can tint your own windows then good for you.
But walmart isn't known for quality

Yeah I have a nissan 240sx, so what?
It's my daily drifter, I mean daily driver.

I use to have fun drifting my IS

Then I got the 240sx...
5spd + VLSD = heaven!!
Every turn, just give it a little gas in second gear and the tail is flying!!!

Yeah I had a very high quality shop do mine. I don't think I would do it myself, especially with cheap stuff. It is a good amount of work so I recommend doing it once and doing it right. My tint is now 5 years old, no bubbles, no peeling, and no change in color. But the shop I used is where all the exotic and high end car guys go.
