SRT Intake Question
I recently bought a 2003 IS300 that came with a SRT Intake already on it. It is my winter car so I dont really need it too have this aftermarket intake so I figured i would sell it and put the car back too stock.
What is all involved with converting a IS300 with SRT intake back to stock air intake components?
Is there soldering wires required?
thanks for the help in advance

SRT Intake
There a couple things with the SRT intakes, i have a set up with the piggy back ECU which yes requires soldering, and i believe that is the only setup that they sell, in my opinion i would just say leave it on, its a great setup with a nice ECU to accompany it.

Hi, thanks for the reply guys but was wondering the difficulty level of removing it? Like how much soldering is required. I bought the car with it already on so I have no idea what is really involved.
on the scale of 1-10 what would you say the difficulty level is to convert it back too stock.
This IS300 is just my winter car and I would like to take the $300 I can get for the intake and put it towards some goodies for my summer car.

If you can solder then it's a simple diy. Here's the diy for the install....just do everything in reverse. The instructions are down a bit on this page....

Its already off and sold and gone at this point.
The car is actually quite a bit slower now.......but that will make the wheels grip better in the snow.....making the car more ideal for winter!
