will this damage my car in the long run?
has anyone here kept the power botton on all the time? what will this do to our car?
will this hurt the engine in the long run? or damage our gears? does it consume significantly more gas?

^^ What he meant to say is if you have a 5 speed you're not cool enough to handle over 350 rwhp. .....and if you fix that problem, you're not cool enough to stay at full boost from 1st to 5th

haha i love my 5 speed, i used to get like 250 or less a tank but now that i did my 90k service, ive been consistantly getting 275 and i even run the s*** outta it at times. my last tank averaged 18.26 mpg all city driving.

Been getting over 300 lately because more Freeway, about 20 mpg, but still in Dallas area.

On a trip to San Antonio I got 25.5 mpg going, had 2 bad stop and go's on the freeway, and 27.5 mpg on the return at 70 to 80+ mph.
And for you Automatic trans guys i would expect about 10% less due to the losses.
