self adjust on IS300HID's *how do you reset/adjust*
Hoping someone on here has had the same problem, HID's sitting up way to high and lighting up roadsigns 30ft in the air etc, so not setting/self setting to a 20-25% angle down when finished self test.
sorry if that makes no sense, best way of explaining it.
Is there a leveler somewhere under the car etc that makes them adjust or is it a simple battery disconect and reset?

sorry for sounding daft but...
Australian owners manual goes as far as explaining that is300 has self leveling headlights and if any issues occur to 'see your nearest Lexus dealership' so I guess my question should be... are they leveled off the adjuster bracket in the wheel well at the RH rear or are the adjusters behind the headlights themselfs?.
and auto leveling module would be where?.

its semi fixed, ive tricked the sensors located on LH front/rear to think its at stock ride height, they still move and center but light is now on in dash, might have pissed it off whilst mucking about, might see lexus and get the fault code removed see if that resolves the issue.

Not sure about the dealerships scanner, but at work I have a Snap-On Modis scanner and when I scanned my old 04 it didn't have any way to let me scan the headlight leveling system, but maybe the scanners at the dealership do have a way I am not sure.

if they are anything like others Ive had dealings with they log a code if its out of its parameters then will recheck after 50+ key cycles through the ignition, perhaps Lexus are different and they don't log a code they just have permanent faults.
its bizarre because it still does its full cycle of adj on start up, and now is leveled correctly but has the fault code in the dash.

unplugging the level system does nothing, my lights stay at the highest setting. maybe disconnect battery and connect to see if it defaults the headlight setting?
