it does help somewhat with looks, it just depends on what exhaust you go with as far as look, but i agree that the main reason is for the sound. the hp gains just aren't enough to really be noticeable.

Right, on a good day a decline and a tail wind would help with power haha

my rear is borderline ricey, if I get a nice shiny fart cannon that would set me over the rice meter!
I like the fact that my exhaust isn't really visible.

I also like how mine sits in a bit so it's not that noticeable too. Well, nothing like yours though. lol

Very true...i think the cheapest you'll find is like 314 not including shipping. Find a shop near buy so you can cut out shipping cost. Try different forum's, craigslist....etc. But hey you were originally willing to spend 7 right?. Seriously though, good luck. Let us know what you end up with and post a vid.

Ok, so I am thinking about getting the HKS Hi Power exhaust. I just need one clarification, does the exhaust come with a new b-pipe or is it just the exhaust and hooks right to the stock b-pipe?

It's just a direct bolt on to the B-pipe...you can have a shop custom make you B-pipe or see if HKS makes the Cat Back

Hey thanks man for the clarification, I wasn't sure because all the photos I saw of the exhaust were stock photos and not the actual product. I am going to order mine tonight. I was actually hoping it just bolted to the old b-pipe because I already have a custom b-pipe, the whole b-pipe is straight pipe. Also if anyone wants a Megan Racing axle back exhaust mine will be for sale once I get the HKS. It only has around 4,000 to 5,000 miles and is like new and I have the silencer for it too, and I will give anyone intrested a good deal on it.

Good price on the Hi-Power. Just for a little more clarification. It does bolt on to the B pipe. Has the 2 hooks on the canister then bolts to the B. Depends on how your Custom B is. I know it was a perfect fit for the OEM. I have a Espelir B pipe and i just had to get longer bolts but there's no leaks and the tip is flush. Your IS is gonna sound sick with that K&N, and OBX headers and Y.

thanks man! ill be sure to post a video when I get it on. yea my b-pipe is just a stock one with the resonator cut out and straight pipe welded in, so there shouldn't be any fitment issues at all.

I have a Greddy Evo2 exhaust that stays low but sounds great. You can check online for what it sounds like. Ive been on it a couple of times when cops were around, havent had a problem. . . yet. . .
