today i got my front and rear smoked side marker lights, so then i headed to work and got home and went to dinner and got the wild idea to put the side marker lights on at 10:30 at night, because i said to myself im in the mood to do it right now so i better do it. so i started with the rears and soon found out there were a few fitment issues. the bulb socket for the rear ones come out at a different angle than factory, it stretches the wiring so here i am in an already tight space i can barely work with, trying to figure out what im going to do. so next thing i know im pulling off the rear bumper, so here i am 11 at night with the rear end tore apart, both tail lights out, the trunk mat out, spare tire out, spare tire cover and tools, cargo net, the rear panel where the trunk lid closes out, the rear fender wells out, and took the back bumper off, then unhooked the harness and took the old marker lights out and put the new ones in and disocvered you have to tighten them pretty tight to get them to look right due to the fitment issue, and you have to break the harness taped in the bumper away from one piece of tape to put some slack in the harness as there marker lights are a tight stretch. then i bolted it all up and slapped it all back together. the front ones fit like butter, and are very easy to install 5 minutes each, go through the fender well and take the bumper bolt out and pull the bumper back and take the 2 nuts off each and reverse it. easy. i also installed the grille that i painted so when i get my altezza emblem i can pop it right in. i will post pictures tomorrow when it is daylight and can take good pics. i just thought id throw this out there in case anyone decides to but the set of marker lights i did off ebay.

here are the pics i said i was going to put up today. i put the painted grille in and am just waiting for the Altzza emblem, i put the smoked side marker lights in and the new short 3" carbon fiber vision antenna. i also received my o2 simulator today in the mail. i was scheduled to receive my headers today too, but UPS decided to deliver them to the wrong address, so I am still trying to figure out where they are. they required a signature and someone named Amy signed for them and i know no Amy, so we will see what happens with that, hopefully this Amy is nice enough to drop them by my house or maybe contact UPS. i gave UPS a call and just told them flat out its a $300 package and they need to figure out where the driver delivered it to, so they can get it back to me. anyways.... here are the pictures

ok so after the big confusion friday evening i was pretty mad at UPS, well it turns out UPS delivered my packag across the street one house down the road, and my wonderful neighbors never brought it to me. anyways UPS recovered the package saturday morning and around 7-8 am saturday morning my headers were on my porch thank goodness. will post pics once i install headers and o2 simulator this week. still waiting on my Altezza emblem from Japan.

i bought it off ebay, the antenna was $12.95 and i believe shipping was $4.95 or 5.95 cant remember and it gets good reception and looks great

so today i got my Altezza emblem and wired up my o2 simulator and installed my headers. i have a picture of the grille itself with the Altezza emblem and pictures of the o2 simulator. tomm i will post pics of the whole car and the headers.

also when this o2 simulator is installed correctly there is a green flashing light on the chip.

give me suggestions on this photo, i have a summit racing sticker at the top on the inside of the 1/4 glass, then the k&n, then the eibach sticker, and then the sportline sticker below it. i like the stickers however im broken as to whether the car would look better with or without them, so give me some suggestions and i will decide from there. these are the only stickers i have on my car. i have these stickers on both sides of the car on the 1/4 glass

haha yea man sure do, just havent had a good weekend to clean it up real nice, because ive been too busy at work, but this weekend i am cleaning it up inside and out and waxing it. will post pics

agree on the stickers, i put them on there myself and after having them on there for about 3 or 4 months they just really started to take away from the car and look more like stickers you would see on a riced honda. anyways the stickers came off today and are no longer there, looks 100% better. it sounds awesome, quiet at idle, and crusing speeds its got a nice tone, but when you get on it, it is loud and sounds awesome.

Looks good, I say ditch the summit and K&N, leave the other two. Just currious, but what did you do with the holes your snow and power button left when you relocated them?

My car is a 5 speed manual trans, so i dont have the ECT Power button, on 5 speeds the Trac Off/Snow buttons are combined and we dont have ECT Power since they are manuals. Basically all i did was just switch the Drivers side heated seat button with the Trac Off/Snow button, i think it looks better that way
