Red face Lets share happiness with my friend. she is only 19 and already a hard-core enthusias

she purchased this with TRD set up at 160k for $6000. her very first car, a gift from her beloved mom

after purchase, she spent almost a week detailing the car and making sure it is now her ride

just purchased the new set of rims. she asked me to put it on the forum so she can get some feedbacks.

she is changing the ride back to normal height due to the rubbing. so, she will put up a set of TRD sport springs for sale soon the springs only have 30k miles on them

nice car, not a huge fan of the rims either, but that is one of my favorite colors on the IS300. is it e-shift or 5 speed?

nevermind, i can tell its e-shift because it is an 01 because the body moldings on the rear doors are different in 01 vs. 02-05 haha

Tell her congrats and join the forum.

I think she should keep the springs and get skinnier tires. That will help with the rubbing issues. Is she rubbing on the fender liner? What size tires are they?

Very nice setup. I actually do like the wheels, just wish it didn't have that yellow outline. Sweet car, she got it at an awesome price too.

thank you for all your input. her name is Sharon. she is a prospective student for UC Berkeley. I guess that's why she picks the wheels with yellow outline to get that blue/yellow theme going i guess it's somehow a girl's thing that may be a bit difficutl for us guys to fathom hehehe

the tire she chooses to have is H rated tires. she is gonna be in college so she wants no trouble with the san francisco hills and the potholes on the street. moreoever, she likes to make the tires last as long as possible till she graduates and finds a job

but i am very happy for her. she saved up the money since freshman in high school and all she ever wants is an IS300 !!

stories like hers may seem ordinary, but upon reflecting on it, it just kindly reminds us the fact that we have all owned a piece of the glorious hitory of Lexus
