Looking at an '01 with 210k on it. I know these cars run forever but does anyone have this high or close amount of miles on here? Is it even smart to get into one with over 200k on it? Any thoughts, thanks.

if its cheap enough ride it till it blows and just swap a new one in. great cars and swaps are always fun

2JZ's are like indestructable as long as you take care of it and don't abuse it. If you abuse it (driving hard / boost / irregular maintenance) it probably won't last as long but that's fine because you can just put a new motor in it. Motors & most parts are pretty cheap!

they have a good point, I own a '99 rx 300 as well and that thing is pushing 250k miles on it and still runs great, that particular model and year even had known tranny problems and oil sludging problems but (knock on wood) still running the original on both and its still running great

As long as there hasnt been any forced induction your completly fine, these motors are awsome for that, and fairly cheap and simple to replace so if your getting a deal, i say go for it!
