HID question

So when i bought my is300 it already came with HIDs. I wanna change it to a 6000k white HID. DO i need a new kit? or can i just get the bulb and switch out my old bulbs to the 6000k

All IS300's in the US came with HIDs, unless the previous owner hacked it up or swapped for JDM non-HID housings.

So you don't need a kit. Just bulbs. D2R are the type you need.

cool sweet. What if i want to change my fogs to HID 6000k white. do i need a kit for that too? sorry for all these noob questions.

yes, you will need a kit for the fogs - they are pretty cheap everywhere. Depending on the year of your car, you have to get the right size/type, here:

2001 - 2002 = 9006 (2003+ = H3-55w)
