launching clutch issues
when ever I try to launch my car at high rpm and slip first gear, the clutch pedal gets stuck halfway. I noticed it when I shift to 2nd the clutch pedal was already half way in. just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. whats the best way to launch these cars. I still haven't figured it out. whats the right rpm? do I slip or drop?
side note. I've been down the drag strip over 1000 times so know a lot of little secrets for launching but i cant figure this one out. someone please help.

check yor brake fluid in your clutch resevoir, it may be low, or it may have gotten air into the sytem, or you have a bad slave cylinder. Is there any brake fluid leaking from underneath your car? If there is it needs a new slave cylinder and brake fluid added and clutch bled. If it's just low and needs fluid I would try adding fluid and bleeding your clutch, If it is not low try bleeding your clutch, if this doesn't help check your springs on the clutch pedal, but this most likely sounds like a hydraulic problem. Maybe your car had previous transmission work and the clutch wasnt properly bled. Hope this helps.
