Default I think I'm getting screwed over

Whats up CL members just have a quick question pretty much in general anyway a few weeks ago my ac just stopped working meaning it was blowing cold for a few minutes then nothing but hot air I'm not a mechanic so i took it in and changed the condenser and evaporator i think its called

Well my ac still doesnt work properly but recently it blows cold air but it depends if its on hi low etc if its from 3rd to last it'll blow for awhile before it warms up sometimes it doesnt cut off at all most of the time on low like midafternoon it'll work and just cut off at night its 50/50 it either works or it'll work for awhile and just stop as well

Anyway my real question is when I took it in again he told me its the compressor thats bad but could it possibly be the AC switch for the fan control sorry if it sounds dumb but just curious as this compressor will run me $630 with installation

Any thoughts or ideas to try are welcome and it really pertains to my girls IS300

you probably need your AC recharged. meaning the evacuate your old coolant and fill back up, and preasurize the system and you're set... Hopefully
