Default Can I plug video signal into nav screen on IS300

Does anyone make integration harnesses that allow an audio/video source to be plugged directly into a 2001 is300 motorised navigation monitor (don't have factory nav nvd computer connected.

Cheers

wondering this as well..when i picked up my is300 the previous owner gave me a nav screen for it but no brain or anything so i was thinking about plugging it into some sort of a/v input..a pre made harness would be nice..

you can run both, there is a plug and plug unit. im not sure who makes it, ill venture into my.is real quick to find out for you.
edit: 2 minutes of searching
ok guys, you need the fargo bypass unit. you can keep oem navi, and run a double din instead of your oem headunit(oem headunit and navi are seperate) not quite plug and play, but if you can install head units you can do this
fargo bypass unit link

great install on my.is and talk about the fargo bypass unit

Dbaccam-put your oem navi back in and run both. imo it looks cleaner with 2 screens.

Hi Guys

It's not clear to me how the fargo harness can feed an video signal directly into the NAV housing?

It seems that you still need a non-oem head unit?

Any help please as i am considering replacing the 7" screen with a touch screen.

Thanks

Thanks.

So all in need to do is power up the fargo or fargo-type harness and nav monitor, plug in the video signal (say rca video input) into the fargo and then plug the fargo harness directly into the satnav monitor.

BTW, does anyone know how to power up the tilt and open close buttons on the nav housing?

Cheers
