its up to u. i am more of a is300 fan. i mean if you want speed the sc300 will be faster but nothing u can't do to your is300. i also like the look of the is300 more but its all up to you. pretty even trade on value wise. i am also a person that doesn't want to buy someone else race car. who knows how well it was built (if u build it yourself, you do). might look good from the outside but how clean is it on the inside. just my 2 cents
by your username i guess you already made your decision 2

i bought a is300 with a 2jzgte swap thinking i would save money and now im spending more because the previous owner ran down the car, beat up on the car, and didnt maintain the car and now i cant do nothing but fix everything....what im trying to say is keep your car and do the 2jzgte swap yourself because if you trade you dont know what your getting....

thanks unohoo. just have heard to many stories from my older bro that kind of sound like boostin_is.
oh and it is a great swap if you do it right. it will be expensive but at least you can put the amount of power you want and know it will be done right. but do it right the first time (no cheap knock-offs in my opinion) so you don't have to redo it down the road and make yourself look dumb when you blow it in front of people.

i love the swap, its very fun, very fast and a sleeper....there is way more sc turbos than is turbos...all my friends have sc300 and sc400 with 2jzgte swaps and i feel good that im the only person in the crew with a 2jzgte is300 and 1 other person but he has a 1st gen gs300 with a 2jzgte swap and its manual 5 speed so hes very rare right about now...at the end of the day you have to make up your mind what you want to do but i say be different....

I say keep the IS but like everyone says ur user already looks like it made up ur mind haha. I think doing a car up urself is better than buying one from someone else that u have no clue whats been going on with the car. ^^ more boosted SC's because SC's are alot cheaper than the IS. Keep the IS and boost it or supercharge it

This is a tough one, I really love both cars. I would do the swap if the SC has a clean title, a bunch of cars with mods have salvage titles and that is a big no-no unless it is a full out race car. If the title is clean get the SC300 and when money allows get another IS300 to use as a daily driver.
