Default Noise When Decelerating

Hey Guys,

Recently I picked up an 02 IS300. The car makes a humming noise on deceleration from about 30mph to 0mph, above 30mph I can't hear the sound. I thought it may be the front rotors were warped since the car did shake a little when stopping. I switched out the rotors and pads, problem is still there. I put on a new set of tires thinking it maybe the tires, nope! Problem is still present.

The noise is more apparent after highway speeds then slowing down or turning a corner. You can't hear the noise at highway speeds, so it makes me think it's not a wheel bearing.

The car is an automatic, 02 IS300.

If anyone has suggestions, i'm all ears!

Michael

sounds like a bearing for sure.... try making smooth turns while decelerating left and right.... if it does come on and off during your turns thats what it is.... bearing.
