Im thinking about buying either of these turbo kit for my lexus is 300...and i was wondering if its a good turbo kit??
Do yall think its worth to buy that turbo and what would i need to do to the car if i were to buy it..
So can i just buy it and install it and it will run good or would i have to upgrade a lot of things??
So if your heard anything about this turbo kit or actually bought please let me know if its good or not..thanks...

You are asking such a broad question sir.
To start, it really depends on your goals as far as hp. Either way there are quite a few upgrades that would need to be made to the engine before turbo should be added. Also forced induction is very hard on the transmission, upgrades there will be helpful as well. There is no slap on turbo for the IS (as this auction suggests), all will require upgrades. The only kit that comes full that I'm aware of is the SRT kit but it's costly.

As far as the ebay set-up, I think the only thing I would take from one of those sets would be the intercooler piping. I wouldn't expect that set up to hold up as you can spend that amount on a new turbo alone.
Check out the link below, there's a lot to a turbo set up:

I was asking the same question on another forum and the gurus replied that the kit is incompleat and that I sould check out srt and turbonetics. here is what they quoted.
I wouldn't even consider it. The truth of the matter is that you just can't save any money on putting a turbo in. It is what it is. Usually the way they show a better price is by leaving off some parts that you will have to buy later, or substituting some parts with crap. In either case your better off just going with a full kit. I would reccommend either the Turbonetics kit or the SRT kit. Both of these kits are put together very well. And include blow off valves, turbo manifolds, high quality turbos.all the tubing and connectors, intercooler, and a bunch of other parts you probably haven't even thought of unless you do turbos regularly and know what they take. I've been doing turbos now for 15 years and I still prefer the kits over peicing them together.( Make sure you get the newer ball bearing turbines, they last a ton longer!) HKS also makes a very nice turbo kit for the IS.
