Have front some rotors and pads from my old IS250 that I was hoping to put on my girlfriends IS300 1st gen IS.
Does anyone know if this has been done, and whats required to make this fit?
Thanks
everything fits almost everything, it dipends on mods you are willing to do. You probably have to check if the new ones hit some of the brackets around it and if everything is ok you'll need to have brake calipers supports machined to fit them correctly. Not a big job to do.
The pads won't fit the 1st gen calipers. The rotors are also a different diameter. Just sell the 2nd gen parts and that should cover the cost of the 1st gen stuff. I get all my rotors thru R1concepts. They do 20-30% off promotions almost twice a week on rotors
