Default Rear endlink bolt for sway bar install

Hey guys,

I just recently purchased a set of new L-Tuned sways.

I've run into one problem, I'm not sure if there is something I'm doing wrong or what.

Here is a picture to show ya'll.

The circle surrounding the rear endlink bolt (14mm) is a pretty tough little bolt. After finaly being able to get some muscle into it. It budges. But it just keeps turning. It will not come off.

I've searched the few DIY's there are and they say all you need for that part is a 14mm socket.

Any ideas?

You have to counter-hold it with an allen key wrench, not sure which size it is but it's around 5mm. Don't round it out or you're in for a bit of hurtin'.

What do you mean by "don't round it out?"

If the allen key does not hold, you can use a pair of needle nose vise grips to hold the part from spinning. If worse comes to worse, you can always resort to a cut-off tool if you have access to a compressor.

As in don't use the wrong size of allen key and strip the hexagonal shape in there making it "round" and not being able to hold the stud as you turn the nut. make sure the allen key fits nice and snug before you give it a turn.
