just bought my IS 300 and whoever owned it before replaced the stock cd player with the low end pioneer cd player, not sure if my tweeters are even working, anyway, im replacing the head unit and wanted to know what the wattage of the speakers were to see if i need to bump it up with a small amp.

also, is there no subwoofer stock in the IS? i know there was in my RX but i dont hear the bass like i do with the RX, maybe it just wasnt connected

You already have an amp. The shop you use for the install can use a metra adapter to the new head to allow use of the amp, or a custom wiring job can be done as well.

so the amp is pushing all of the speakers and the only lead from the head unit runs to the amp
