60k Service Story--Need Advice
So I dropped my car off for my 60k service today and they provided me with a new IS250. Nice car by the way. However, the service advisor called today to inform me that somehow something from the parts truck they were unloading flew out and dented my car. By the way we had some strong wind in Northern California. They told me it would be a couple of days because they have to take it to their body shop.
Im glad they are taking care of it, but at the same time I am a little irritated. I was planning on going out of town this weekend. I was going to leave Friday morning and wont get back until Monday night. Do you think they will let me keep the car? I have a feeling my car will be done by Saturday.

When situations like this arise, there is no asking them anything. You need to be stearn and tell them you will return the car on Tuesday morning. Otherwise they need to rent you a car of equal luxury as your own. Their carelessness shouldn't ruin your plans. Keep the control in your court otherwise they will do the least they can do to keep you satisfied.
BTW, did you get a look at the damage? I'd want to see it before they took it to any body shop.
