Very simple question, I haven't gotten to look at a 2002 as they are rather scarce around here.
So, if I get a 2002 with the VSC and TRAC, can I disable it, saw when I'm drag racing, etc

I know that you can turn off the Trac on the IS. In fact you have have the dealer modify the ECU so that the Trac defaults to off. That way when you start the car it's off, and you have to turn it on if you want it.
The VSC I'm not sure about. I'm not sure exactly how often that turns on, it's kinda hard to tell. It might just be hard for me to tell since I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be listening to. I know when I take a crazy turn I hear clicking sounds, and I believe that is just the Trac working extra hard with breaking the front breaks. Does anyone know?

Yes...you can turn the VSC off...On my moms GS the VSC and Trac are integrated so I just have one button...
And that Clicking sound my friend is the electronic Modules applying brakes to one or more wheels and reducing engine power..saving you a** from getting into an accident
