Default Which Lowering Springs??

I Have an 01 IS300, I just put on a set of 06 IS350 18 Inch wheels, i have about 1 3/4 fender space left. i want to drop the car about an inch. any suggestions on which lowering springs to use. i dont want the tires tucked up in the fenders, just a small bit of clearance would do.

Eibach springs if your gonna just do springs. If your going full coilovers wich is the better way to do it, but it costs alot more, I would go with Tien.

Lexus01,

you will want to go with a set of the Tein H Techs or the S techs. Both of these sets of springs are good quality and are a conservative drop. If you want something a bit lower than what these offer then I have had several friends use roadmagnets. I just got a set of the road magnet springs myself per the recommendation of Apex84. The roadmagnet springs lower the car about 1.75" and they were actually used on Team Lexus race cars.

The roadmagnet springs can be bought on their website.

If you are interested in getting the Teins check out the following site as they have a good price on them.

Check out the NELOC section of the forum. We have a local group of Lexus owners that hang out all the time. There are a bunch of IS300s amoung the other rides that we have. Here is the link:

Check out Road Magnet. They are local and I've used them for about two years now. Also check out Mrmarks ride. He has them on his 250. Tell Mark(another Mark) at Road Magnet that Leroy sent you.

I have 18" BBS wheels on my IS, and I have Tein High.Tech lowering springs. The ride is great, and it droped my car the perfect amount....1.4" in the front 1.2" in the rear

If it isnt too much to ask could you post pictures of your car with the IS350 rims on it. I've been thinking about doing that same setup but haven't been able to find any pics of what those rims look like on a IS300. Thanks
