if you did 20's i would do fender mods, and go on coils, and put a wald body kit, so it would drop a little, then it would look good

They are way too big.

19s can look fine if the car is lowered or has a body/lip kit. But stock body and stock height look out of place. They make the car look like a 4x4.

Look at all the fender gap. This at least looks decent.

But that is 19's. 20's look even more out of place.

well am planin on addin a lip kit. but i dont want to lower it cause i live in japan and the roads here arent that good plus there are alot of hills and my car at stock already had the pipe drag the ground at some places and i dont wanna be havin to turn the car a lil bit everytime i have to do one of them. but i do wanna add a lip kit. on the pic above how wide are the back tires cause they look really wide...the 20 i was lookin at are only 8" wide. with 235/40/20 should be fine i would think. i dont know how to roll or shave the fenders and here in japan things are that cheap.

They won't fit in front unless you go Vertex front fenders and a 215/40/18 or 205/40/18.

The rears will fit with rolled fenders, maybe a slight pull/flare and a 225/40/18.

Rear wheel is a 18x9.5 +22 with a 225/40/18. He shaved his fender to the edge.

This is a 18x9.5 +22 with a 235/40/18. He has Vertex front fenders. (No he did not keep this setup)

If you are running an 8" wide wheel then just run a 225. A 235 will bulge out.
And a 235/40/20 would be 2.5" taller than stock. That is retarded huge. Your wheel and tire setup would be 27" tall.

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos

You need to keep the overall diameter of the tire as close to stock as possible. So for a 20 that would be... 225/25/20 or a 235/25/20 if you insist.

But if the roads aren't that good then you'd be better off getting at least a 19. You could run a thicker side wall on the tires so you wouldn't bend them as easy...

yeah about the thicker tire you are right. that would be better...but i wanted to get staggered tires and its been a lil dificult finding them in 18 or 19s. thanks for all the help. also if i get 19 and 225/35 or 40 i wouldnt have to do anything with te fenders right.

hahahaha

I know he's crazy.
Can the vertex fenders be rolled?
Like, made flat to get rid of that stock downward drop above the wheel?
I would want to modify the ***** out of those fenders, and maybe make the vent bigger like the vertex ridge fenders for teh sc300... wonder how much they cost..

Vertex fenders are fiberglass so you can only shave them down thinner on the inside.
You won't be able to roll fiberglass though

You'd have to have some custom fenders done.

Or the fact that it looks like a 240sx because he painted the rear pillar part black... the tail light covers....
