A few things....First, the shift **** looks really good. Second, I am usually not a fan of wood on the IS300 but for some reason that wood looks really good in your car. And lastly, what does that shift lock button do that is right above the "P" on the shifter location? That certainly wasnt on the US versions so just curious.

Thanks for you comments, yes this shift **** has a nicer grip than the original alu ball.

For the "shift lock" button, according to the manual it is used to unlock the shifter whenever it would get locked!

both are sweet but like anything else we always want what we don't have so the new one is definitely good upgrade.

The US version does have that, only its under a little pop out tab thingy in the same place. My understanding is it lets the wheels unlock if you need to tow the car. Also i'll be putting that same shifter **** on in a week or so when it gets here. I think it should look much better than my scuffed up stock ball.
