i got my IS3 used about a month ago for $12,000 with 92,000 miles on it.... with 90,000 mile service done and everything. of course it was a lot below blue book but the guy just wanted to let it go cuz he needed the money pretty badly. g/l with finding a good deal! i would see if they will drop it a little

Yeah that mileage/price seems a little high. If you want a really good deal but, risk no warranty try the classified ads like autotrader or cars.com. but, you better do your research on these car before buying one used. If you really want to find the best deals check ebay or craigslist.org for a city near you. I know someone who got an 02 is300 5spd with 110k mileage for just under $7K off craigslist. The guy selling it just wanted it paid off because he had bought a new car & couldn't make two car payments.

I'm in the midwest and found an '02 with 93K for $15K. The price you're talking about seems reasonable looking at the mileage alone. Of course mileage alone doesn't go into the decision. I'm just throwing this out as a reference point as mine too was top drawer condition even with the high miles.

Hey boss i bought an 01 is with 107,000 for a little under 12,900 and it runs like a champ I love it . You should go for it I've had it a little over 7months and havent had any problems. Like they said as long as its had its maintenance you should be good. I love it though and they have so much potential. Good Luck]

Hey, i'm new to the forums and was looking around to find out anything I could about these cars. I been checking out a 02' IS300 with 58k Miles on it. I was just wondering if there was anything that I should be worried about?

I know its a Lexus and EVERYBODY seems to love their car and the reliability, style etc. Was just looking for a few things that might be considered "minor maintenance issues" Thanks
