new 04 is300 with no master key
I just purchased a 2004 IS300 and only got a valet key and wallet key with transponder chip to start the car. No master key came with it.
I need to get 2 keyless entry remotes. Yes I searched but info was confusing. From what ive read do I need to
1. Get a new ecu to get new keys or
2. just a reflash if I get a remote keys from somewhere like https://www.lexuskeys.info/products.php?cat=8 or ebay?
Thanks

So if this is all I have the only option I have is to go to the dealer and get a new ecu?
Bottom key is valet key top key is wallet key with chip to start car.

If you take your bill of sale to the Lexus dealer, will they not give you new keys? As long as your sale was vaild, and you have plenty of documentation, you should have no issues having the car re-keyed. Besides, with other keys floating around, I would have it re-keyed anyway.

lexus doesn't do it like BMW? you actually have to have another key, they don't keep records at lexus and just reorder keys based on vin number? I'd imagin they could do that.
