Can I get hydraulic lifts for my hood?

Does anyone know if they make mods to put hydraulic lifts/shock lifts for the IS300 hood. I just can't stand going from a car that holds its own hood up to one that has a hood stand that folds down. It just doesn't seem like a quality look. Anyone have any ideas? Some of the other lexus models have it, but not the IS300!!!

Honestly I think that would be a waste. THink about what happens to the hydrolics when it gets cold out.. they tend not to hold anything up.. I wouldn't want to be working on a car when the hood descides to come down. (ouch) Spring loaded hoods are better but weigh more. I might sugest making a smaller hood prop and putting it in the back of the hood.. Just my opinion.

I have had my props functional in the cold cold temp of CO at around 10 degrees. A must when you need to put in new fluids.
