Did you see the Lamborgini looking like scrap metal. It is a shame that there are not more tracks for people to go to when they want to race.

Hmmm.....

I saw this on the news today. They showed the Lam, it was pretty much eating a telephone pole, OUCH! Damn, a 2001 too. All that money, you'd think they'd be smart enough..............

It takes very little brains to drive fast on the streets.

It takes a lot of brains to exercise discretion and drive carefully.

This is why one does not race on streets.

Yes, that's what a high speed accident looks like before police arrive with the sheets and bodybags. Did you really think that people died in car accidents looking as if they went to bed after having a little boo-boo to the head? That's also what a mid-to-low speed accident looks like w/o seat belts.

Unless they've all closed since I moved a few years ago there are still tracks for drag racing in the NY metro area. I don't think the problem is lack of tracks, although more would be nice. It's lack of knowledge mixed with stupidity and machismo.

The average ******** racing on the street doesn't understand the risks involved or the skills needed. Many are overdriving their capabilities on public streets with unsuspecting citizens.

Unfortunately, it's nothing new. It's been going on as long as there have been things to race.

It's a pity some of us are willing to risk major injury or death just to prove "My D*CK is bigger than yours".

Makes me glad that I'm a girl, no wonder insurance for guys is more expensive.

On a more serious note however, it is truly sad and disgusting that innocent people have to lose their lives because of some one else being reckless and stupid. Not only did two young children lose their father, but somebody else lost a husband, a son, a friend, and a brother. And for what? Fourteen seconds of a thrill?
