Hey guys
I was thinking of getting spoiler for the car. I was going to go with a apg aluminum wing. I want those wing becuase it looks good and it helps push the back of the car to the ground more so the rear wheels will stay more contact to the road. What do u guys think.

I'm sorry, I have not seen the wing you're talking about, but, "more contact to the road?"
What kind of wing are we talking about here?
That thing should be relatively big.
You should be going pretty fast to notice the difference, or that thing is heavy.
Just my opinion.

The only thing about those wings making the rear wheels make more contact to the road is the weight. Spend a little more and get a carbon fiber one or a machined aircraft aluminum one.

Let's get this straight. The wings you see on most street cars (those sub 450 whp cars) are just for looks. You can't get enough speed driving on the road to create any noticeable down force from the wing. And even if you are driving that fast on the road, you are doing so illegally and IMO in a very dangerous situation.
IMO the wing is just dead weight and will create problems w/the trunk area. I've seen cars (mostly Hondas) w/noticeable dents on the trunk lid.
I don't recall the formula for downforce calculations, but even going about 160 you create less than a few pounds of down force. You can get more weight on the rear of the car by loading it w/groceries.
Just my 2 cents.

Since when has your IS 300 been putting 800hp to the rear wheels? I don't think you are using your car for any type of serious road racing that you would need to try to create more downforce to the rear. The only thing you are going to do with that is make your car look like isht, create more drag and look like every other honda out there.
Please do yourself a favor, get that idea out of your head and go buy something else.

also.. doesnt downforce make your car go slower... unless you have a lot of hp to stick to the ground and your car is really fast... I wouldnt even consider doing this.
