Yeah I have noticed that it's much slower than IS300.net. Honestly I'm only here because IS300.net is down. Otherwise, I rarely am ever here. Sure it seems a bit more mature, but that's not what the IS 300 is all about anyways.

Me too, the reason I'm here is because IS300.Net is down (sorry clublexus!!!, I'm being honest here)....plus I just pickup my car last weekend and would like to know how to break-in properly. Last but not least is to kill time at work. Let me tell you how much I have missed the IS300.Net. (I hurt my wrist for keep typing IS300.Net for every second and hoping that it will show up....!!!)
Anyway, from now on I guest I will visit both forum more often if time is permit.

You can look in the manual to see how to break it in properly. If I can remember correctly (it's been almost a year since I did this) you should vary the RPMs and keep it under 55 mph and 4k RPMs for like the first 800-1000 miles. Again, read the manual to be sure.
Let me tell you though, it's the most frustrating thing to be driving on the highway on the far right lane like a granny as Ford Escorts and Honda Civics are passing you by

The idea is to keep car running different RPMs and different gears, but not high RPMs. Driving at the same speed for a long period of time is not recommended.
I remember my break-in period. Lasted a week or so.
I was going at different speeds all the time. Up to 90 sometimes.
