How do I switch rear turn signal bulbs?

I wanted to switch the rear turn signal bulbs, but when I took apart the trunk lining, the bulbs had a metal plate that were covering them... How do I access the bulbs?

hey, heres how u do the rear lights...
when u first open the trunk, look right to the side of the rear lense is.. there are two little plastic caps that look like they can be pried open with a small screwdriver.. if you undo those, there are two screws.. take those out and the rear lense will jsut pop open..
the plastic caps are right where the inside lining for the plastic water guard is.. ( u know, to prevent ur trunk from leaking when u wash ur car..)
when i first tried to replace the reverse lights, i came upon this same problem..i thought that the trunk lights were welded shut..
