Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm from the UK and have just found this and installed on my UK 2002 IS200.

As far as the navigation is concerned it works perfectly, but on mine it won't do anything for the audio (simply says "audio commands are not available using voice")

Did any of you have to do anything differently to control the audio, or did it all just work as soon as you plugged it in?

Thanks in advance for any help

Nothing needs to be done.. it should just work if it works for the NAV portion.

Could be related to differences between the US and UK versions of the NAV software.

In any case, the radio portion of the voice recognition is not that great.. it allows you to scan channels, change AM/FM and change tracks on the CD.

It would be nicer if you could change presets using your voice, but even the newer Lexus' don't do that.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking that must be it but thought I'd check. The only thing that I noticed was that there is still one spare socket on the nav unit in the boot so wasn't sure if there was possibly another plug.

Yep not too bothered about the audio, was just interested to find out why it doesn't work on my car.

Thanks again
