Question

I'm not sure if these are already available, because of the highly expensive material and machining process. But I imagine with a committed large order, I could arrange full spherical or half-cap machined true titanium shift *****...er that sounds kinda weird, ah, anyway maybe I am smokin' the chronic on this one, but real titanium is pretty exotic material, be cool to have one in the IS. Expense, easily figure 150-200 each !!! yikes, well titanium is a strategic metal and market value is very high for it, check this link for titanium fasteners you'll see what I mean http://www.mcmaster.com/ in the search box type titanium screws...major change unh ? Anyway, probably need an order of at least 25 to just cover material and maching cost.

I'm interested if it's lighter than the stock shift ****.
I presume being lighter it will shift faster. Does it come
in colors, or can it be chromed. Will it have a logo on it, or a shift pattern on the top? I am very excited to hear about this.

i think for a manual car, the heavier the better. All shiftknobs emphasize how heavy they are so I assume heavier the better, because the balance is on the top which gives easier shifting.

Automatics it's all the same~

The Titanium could not be chromed, and you probably would not want to, it is cool looking metal all by itself. And shift pattern or graphics could be done, actually I could CNC machine the L from Lexus, but tweaking he CNC for exact font dimensions...well that would take awhile. I should should probably just do a demo unit and snap some pics of it.
