My car is not turbo, but from reading all the posts on the forum I would go Toyomoto. Like it said earlier it has all top notch parts. I also like the idea that they use a thicker head gasket to drop compression so you can run more boost. I just dont think getting a turbo and running very low boost is worth it. Just my opinion.

good pick.. instead of using the gasket I would jsut do it the right way and get pistons... I think toyomoto and XS should think about that.. I knonw SRT is offering forged pistons.. to lower compression, just a thought

You are 100% right on that one, but I was just speaking from an economically minded standpoint. If you've got the loot why not get the pistons. You could run a ton of boost. Your only problem is gonna be traction. I hear SCs have a real hard time finding traction and they can take some pretty wide tires. What size tires are you gonna put out back??

BTW I congratulate u folks from the IS board. This board is actually picking up traffic and I am starting to visit more and more, you guys have some interesting comments.

question, what is the curb weight of IS300, anybody have a manual IS? how smooth is the tranny? Do you like it's handling? what is the difference between the altezza, IS200 and the IS300 (international owners)?

so many questions but might it be that I am contemplating purchasing an IS sometime in the future?
