Question Stock tire size?

Eh, I am trying to order new tires for my stockies. Don't want the road salt screwin up the 19's. What size tire came on the 17" 2001 5 spokes?

MODS please wait for response then delete. THANKS!

yeah, I have the Axis wheels, but winter here is STL are pretty harsh. They put down road salt like crazy. The last thing I want is pit marks in the chrome lip! So 215/45/17?

225/45ZR17's are more common and sometimes cheaper than 215s. That's what I roll on currently. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 225/45YR17.

225's ride better and give the car a little softer feel.

I have this size on the rear and will go up to the same when the front's need replacing.
