xpel?
Is xpel some kind of cleaner for the car? Ive been seeing this word come up numerous times, yet im not really sure what xpel does...is there xpel for headlights? i saw on one of the featured cars...and on the list it said xpel headlight protection... Do you guys know where I can get this thing and does it really work well?

xpel is a thing plastic film that is installed onto the car. Its like a sticker or more closely, like a think tint film that they squeegie onto your bumper, headlights etc.

It's a clear urethane film applied to the front end of your car to protect it from rocks, bugs and whatever else the road throws at you. I got a full Xpel kit done on my car because sooner or later, you car will look like it's been sandblasted from all the paint chips. Get it done my friend and save yourself from getting another paint job. Also, get it for your headlights and foglights too. The film for the lights are thicker than the film for the body.
If you're not confident about installing it yourself, I suggest going to a registered installer. If you're in socal I recommend Francisco from Aeroshield in El Monte. They're mobile as well so just go to www.aeroshield.com. They have other ones listed on www.xpel.com, just go there and search with your zip code. If you don't get a good installer, there WILL be bubbles. Otherwise, you can barely see it's there. I have a black car so it shows a little bit at certain angles, but if you have msm or something, you won't even know it's there.

For example, I have a full Xpel kit on my car. Because I wasn't happy with the way the hood turned out from the XPel kit, I had Francisco of Aeroshield redo my hood w/Xpel (because that's what the rest of the kit was already), since I didn't like the pre cut kit that Xpel had. I didn't like the coverage since it had alot of gaps and uncovered areas.
