DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE STOCK FOG LIGHTS ARE GOLD BECAUSE OF THE LENSES OR THE BULBS? I LIKE THE GOLD LOOK BUT THINK IT MAY BE OVERKILL ON A YELLOW CAR. THOUGHT ABOUT MAYBE GOING WITH SOME BLUE OR SUPER WHITE FOGS, BUT DONT HAVE THE TIME TO SEE WHAT MAKES THEM GOLD. (LAZINESS) ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. I WAS ALSO WONDERING IF ANY ONE HAD PURCHASED THE JDM CONVERSIONS CLEAR TAIL LAMPS FOR THE IS YET? IF SO, HOW IS INSTALLATION AND HOW DO THEY LOOK? JUST WONDERING.

I will be attempting removal of the lens on Ticalis300's fog lights some time in the near future..
Fairuza11, Be careful.
Ticalis broke one of his fogs already cause he got too agressive when breaking the lens.
I will try the oven baking technique.
There is a very very thick glass lens. It is convex on the front side, flat on the backside. There are a few obvious ways to remove the lens.
Remove the front cover and unscrew it.
Go in through the back and break the lens, get the pieces out.
Will let you know how it goes.

Yeah, it's not the same as the GS3.
In fact it's very different. Its much harder in the IS. There is simply no possible way of breaking the glass and getting the chunks out. That glass is seriously thick. Ticalis and I even tried drilling through it with a glass drilll bit and it didn't work.

Fog Lights
Anyone know a good aftermarket bulb for the fogs to match the HID lamps? I have already replaced the running lights and want complete the look. Thanks.

Also, I already got rid of the yellow lenses some time ago, but the stock lights still look yellowish compared to the HID's and the replacment running light bulbs. Anyone replace the high beam bulbs as well, and what part ?

foglights...
i have used razo bulbs for the fogs and they emit a very nice hyper white color... w/ a slight bluish tint. you might also want to try cuzo.. as for the highbeams, i have some piaas in my IS... they are much brighter w/ a very slight tint of blue.....
u have to becareful with aftermarket bulbs.. some will break inside the casing, some will fade in color, and some will burnout somewhat quickly.. PIAA makes great bulbs and will usually last longer than necessary but doesn't always give the appearance people tend to look for (HID look)...
