I've seen it in person, last september up in maryland with its previous owner...and witnessed it dyno 759!!

i saw it on ebay with no reserve. wish i had jumped on it. oh well, he got a helluva car. and he's thinking of doing more to it

759 rwhp????? Pardon my stupid question but how in god's name does that engine put out that kind of HP? I know it is forced induction, but still what is so different about that setup compared to say DaveGS4's SC'd setup that this puts out almost double the HP?
How can the stock tranny handle all that power??? How does this guy even drive it? I can only imagine - he must tread the accelerator as if he is walking on eggshells otherwise he would be flying all over the place with that kind of HP.
I wonder what the car's time is for the 1/4 mile and 0 - 60 MPH.........

1. That engine is the venerable 2JZ. and it is boosted out of its mind. if you look at the mod list to the engine you will see that almost everything has been done to this car. its basically the same engine from the supra and you know how fast those are....
2. This engine is pushing 3, if not 4 times more boost than Dave's car. sure Dave's car is a V8, but theres no replacement for............boost. if im not mistaken, on the 760 rwhp run, i think he was at 32 or 33 psi
3. The stock tranny wont handle the power. He has the V160 Getrag six speed. same tranny from the supra, but again, i may be wrong. obviously upgraded with reinforced clutches and all.
4. You dont drive around with the car at 33 psi. that run was done on race gas. his highest on pump is like 560 at 19 psi. still alot, but no where near as insane. and besides, you dont have to WOT around town, so i suspect its much like driving a normal car.
5. Mo drove it to an 11 flat at 133 mph
thats supercar territory, right there. all in all, the car is a beast. like i said, im sorry that i never bid on it when i had the chance. and now i just found out that the other big dog IS has changed hands 2 times since then. the last guy sold it for 30K. it put down 660 rwhp. and it may have been even nicer......
