Where have all you guys gotten your information? None of this seems to be based in fact. 05 will see the new 06 GS with a 3.0 @ 245 hp and the carry over 4.3 V8 at 300 hp. 06 shows the 07 hybrid GS with a 3.5 V6 and synergy drive for 400+ hp approx.
The IS will get a smaller 2.5 V6 (hp unknown) and a 3.5 or 3.6 V6 with 300+ hp. Sedan, and coupe yes. Convertible maybe. Wagon? Who knows. The Sportcross was loved only by people who owned them.
So far, no hybrid IS.
Consider the sources.
