Default Somethign you WON'T find in my Cluster DIY instructions....

I present the newest addition to LLS. The IS model "Shadowboxer".

Appropriately named ... it shadows the two side gauges in a soft low light while brilliantly blasting 200,000 mcd worth of German led's from the "timepiece" in the center.

This is the brightest cluster known to man for any lexus auto, totalling 320,000 mcd worth of LED's.

Why did i build it?
.
.
.
.
because i can

You can literally read a newspaper in the back seat of the car by just the glow of the centerpiece of this cluster.

there are 2 reasons why you don't see the needles lit.

1.) the needles are orange and the light is blue, they cancell each other out when using ultra high output blue led's. It's the principle of the color spectrum at work.

2.) i only have them barely lit in this photo, and they weren't bright enough to show up sitting beside 20k worth of led's in the center ring. The center is really THAT bright.

purple is possible, but for whatever reason why, the distributor will rape you on ultraviolet led's.($$$) never figured that one out.

Doesn't it being so bright make it difficult to drive at night ?

Have you drive tested it? Are the IS cluster lights adjustable?

Actually Edgy's cluster was "close" to this one in design, i pumped up his center timepiece a LOT.

here was what they said about his,

http://is300.net/modules.php?name=Fo...ght=#133983251

of course this one is really on some serious steroids. however the concept of the two are the same.

i have done a "fusion key lime green" the ice blue, a bloody red, and of course pure 10k white.

All are pure German led's so the actual color is extremely rich and true. All of the led's are 10k or higher also.

LLS is the ONLY Lexus specialty lighting store in the world. There are a few DIY'ers out there, but this is the only official website, store, and support center ran by engineers and sales reps.

contact for sales are:

Sales at lextech.org

or pm either of these two CL members:

Amy

Ben

You should not have to go any further than me, however those are the sales team contacts if i am gone.

Even though i am a CL sponsor, i really wasn't looking for a plug, i LOVE this cluster. I engineer them and build to test and R&D and this was my favorite one.

You can literally read a newspaper in the back seat by the light.

This unit was built for a showcar for someone who is a member here
